You schedule each session with individual clients, offer independent support and guidance, and help prepare educational materials for the topic being discussed. Some freelance tutors work exclusively with existing material like homework assignments while other tutors create new worksheets and materials for students to use. Freelance tutors can work in-person or online. Remote positions are more common, but some families and students prefer to hire personal tutors instead of signing up with a local tutoring school.
