The Design-Build Assistant Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial and institutional design-build projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for managing small projects independently or supporting larger, more complex projects while collaborating with design professionals, subcontractors, clients, and internal teams. Projects are delivered using a variety of contracting methods, including Design-Build, IDIQ, Lump Sum, and Fast Track delivery. The position requires a strong understanding of project management processes, construction means and methods, and design coordination.
Scope of Design-Build Assistant Project Manager Position
Manage all phases of small design-build projects (approximately $0–$4 million) or provide project management support on multiple small projects or larger, more complex projects. Most assignments will utilize the Design-Build project delivery method.
