Job description

We are seeking a highly technical Solution Architect, CRM & Digital Marketing to lead the architecture, implementation, and optimization of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) ecosystem. This role combines solution architecture, technical project management, and CRM platform expertise to deliver scalable customer engagement solutions across marketing, retention, and digital channels. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, strong scripting skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Rate Range: $70-83/hr on W2

Responsibilities:
  • Own the day-to-day operational health of Salesforce Marketing Cloud campaigns, automations, and customer journeys.
  • Architect, develop, and deploy scalable customer journeys, automations, and personalized marketing experiences using Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable CRM and digital marketing solutions.
  • Manage multiple concurrent technical initiatives while coordinating timelines, priorities, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Design and maintain scalable customer data models using Contact Builder, Data Extensions, and Audience Builder.
  • Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with external platforms including CDPs, mobile applications, APIs, and enterprise data warehouses.
  • Partner with Engineering and Data teams to implement new integrations supporting customer lifecycle and personalization initiatives.
  • Develop technical standards, QA processes, governance, and best practices for Salesforce Marketing Cloud development.
  • Troubleshoot campaign, automation, integration, and data flow issues to ensure platform stability.
  • Evaluate new Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities and recommend platform enhancements.
  • Provide technical guidance to CRM marketers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
  • Support roadmap planning and future CRM modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or Senior CRM Technical Architect.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).
  • Expert knowledge of Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Contact Builder, and Data Extensions.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AMPScript and SQL; SSJS knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience integrating SFMC with APIs, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), mobile applications, and enterprise data platforms.
  • Strong understanding of customer data modeling, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience managing multiple technical initiatives in Agile, fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business teams.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple stakeholders.
