Job description

General Summary: The Program Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of Security and IT infrastructure programs across a multi-site portfolio. The incumbent in this role will efficiently meet program safety, quality, schedule, and cost goals, while managing internal and external stakeholders across multiple business units. This position will work with multiple departments and processes to support work execution, problem solving, planning, and process improvement.

The Program Manager will proactively lead and facilitate teams through issues and is responsible for the efficient execution of work items and conditions of the areas in which they are assigned. Additionally, this position is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the security and IT infrastructure team. Supervision Level: Reports to Director, Network Communications.

Manages a team of project managers and coordinators. Responsibilities: Manages and oversees security program aspects to ensure they are completed in a timely manner and within budget. Responsible for scope management, cost control, schedule performance, vendor coordination, and contractual deliverables.

Leads stakeholders and project teams in defining project scope, cost, schedule, vendors, and contractual deliverables. Develops detailed program and project plans, monitors project milestones, and generates status reports. Monitors financial performance including labor burn, forecasting, and variance reporting.

Evaluates and manages risk; develops mitigation strategies and response plans. Manages several project workstreams. Directs project progress and establishes guidance on project execution.

Qualifies and quantifies project issues and risks and develops response plans to resolve. Understands current and future business goals and ongoing concerns. Mentors project managers and team members, promoting a collaborative and productive work environment.

Performs other duties as assigned.
