Ready to help students find their voice? Cross Country Education is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support Kโ€“8 students in developing essential speech and language abilities throughout the 2026โ€“2027 school year in Chicago, IL.
Position Overview
Provide speech-language services to students in accordance with IEP and 504 minutes, ensuring delivery of individualized therapy goals.
Develop, write, and maintain all speech-related components of IEPs/504 plans, including full IEP development for speech-only students.
Participate in IEP and 504 meetings, collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs.
Contribute to MTSS processes by supporting early identification, intervention planning, and progress monitoring for students with speech and language needs.
Qualifications
Masterโ€™s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement (K-8)
Experience providing school-based speech-language services, including IEP development and caseload management
