Position Purpose:
We are looking for great Los Angeles- Based Freelance Experiential Activation Producers for September 2025 to January 2026 to support upcoming project work. Our Experiential Producers work within teams to provide day-to-day management of projects - overseeing elements as assigned, from timelines, meetings, staffing, creative, onsite logistics, show management and guest experience. Act as a team player, working to both support senior level staff, as well as oversee junior staff. Apply a keen eye and intuitive nature to each project's individual development. Contribute to internal business strategies, identifying new clients, talents, and systems to position TAIT as an industry leader.
This is a temporary contract role, not a full-time staff position.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning and execution of experiential projects and marketing activations, maintaining a big-picture perspective while empowering project teams to own departmental details
  • Serve as a key liaison between clients, internal teams, venues, and event partners to ensure alignment and successful delivery
  • Manage multiple priorities across large-scale projects, smaller project leads, internal initiatives, and new business pitches
  • Translate client vision and brand objectives into creative concepts and actionable project plans in collaboration with internal teams
  • Manage stakeholder expectations, identify risks, and proactively develop solutions throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead and support project teams by setting clear expectations, establishing processes and goals, providing feedback, and supporting professional development
  • Oversee key event workstreams, including communication strategy, site plans and layouts, creative concepts, show documentation, security, logistics, transportation, and catering
  • Own project budgets ranging from $150K to $5M+, including forecasting, reconciliation, margin management, and offering suggestions for efficiencies & feasibility
  • Partner with the project staffing team to determine staffing needs and fill roles within approved budgets
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making across projects and the broader team
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, events, and resources to inform project strategy and execution.

Position Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in live events, entertainment, theatre, or production
  • Demonstrated experience producing experiential marketing activations and events
  • Proficiency in Keynote, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace
  • Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, communication and project management tools such as Slack, Box, Airtable, Asana, and Concur
  • Knowledge of venues across the U.S.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Demonstrated curiosity and a growth mindset, with a willingness to ask questions, seek and provide feedback, and continuously improve
  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
