Job Summary:
Steadily is a company focused on improving customer experiences through innovative solutions. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer on the growth team to build web applications and analyze data to enhance customer journeys.
Responsibilities:
• Work across marketing, product, and engineering to build out end to end solutions for the customer's journey from initial contact through their first policies.
• Help more people self-serve when getting their first policy with Steadily.
• Implement and follow up on robust analytics to understand pain points our customers are facing.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience building web applications and analyzing data to improve customer experiences.
• Ability to work across marketing, product, and engineering to build end-to-end solutions.
• Experience in diving into a complex codebase without too much spin-up.
• Past experience as a team lead is a plus.
• Thoughtful opinions on user experience and product-side of engineering.
• Ability to balance speed and quality, making thoughtful trade-offs.
• Experience leveraging off-the-shelf solutions and understanding when a custom solution is appropriate.
• Ability to deploy code to production quickly and iteratively build solutions.
• Willingness to learn new languages or frameworks quickly.
Preferred:
• Experience with Python 3 / Kotlin.
• Experience with Typescript.
• Experience with React (Next.js).
