POSITION TITLE AI Solutions Engineer

POSITION LOCATION Stamford, CT

This position is available to NY/CT residents as Stamford, Connecticut in-office applicants *A Hybrid schedule of both Remote and In-Office days is required. In office days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with working hours targeting our core business hours of 9am-5pm EST.

YOUR ROLE

As an Investments team member, you’ll play a key role in the innovative investment strategies that enable our company and our financial products to serve our customers and their families when they need us most – now and in the future.

As an AI Solutions Engineer, you will partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where Artificial Intelligence, intelligent agents, automation, and modern Microsoft technologies can improve business processes and employee productivity.

You will help design, build, and support AI-powered solutions, including conversational agents, intelligent automation, and workflow integrations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving business problems with technology and has hands‑on experience developing AI, automation, or low‑code solutions.

  • Partner with business teams to understand challenges and identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions.
  • Design, develop, test, and support AI-powered applications, agents, automation, and workflow solutions.
  • Build and enhance intelligent agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio and related AI technologies.
  • Develop integrations with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, SharePoint, APIs, databases, enterprise systems and advanced generative AI tools.
  • Collaborate with the Business Analysts and end users to deliver scalable, supportable solutions.
  • Monitor solution performance and recommend enhancements based on business feedback and usage data.
  • Document solutions and support knowledge transfer activities.
  • Stay current with emerging AI technologies and recommend opportunities for adoption.
  • Support AI enablement efforts through demonstrations, training, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Support Data Servicing with the Microsoft Power Platform including Power BI.
What you bring
  • BA/BS degree, preferably in a computer science, information systems, engineering, business analytics or related field
  • 2+ years operations/IT experience, preferably in an insurance or asset management company
  • Experience with automation tools (e.g., Automation Anywhere, Power Platform or CoPilot Studio)
  • Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated solutions
  • Understanding of systems integration and workflow automation
  • Strong process mapping (as-is / to-be) and documentation skills
  • Experience working with complex business processes (e.g., investments, operations)
  • Strong problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and proven ability to design and maintain complex processes
  • Ability to multi‑task and absorb information across a broad spectrum of systems and asset classes
  • Ability to initiate and drive tasks to completion, self‑starter
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills (e.g., Power Queries, VBA)

  • Experience with MS Power Platform, Power BI, SharePoint, SQL, Python and Azure AI Foundry
  • Knowledge of Blackrock Aladdin BlackRock Trading Platform
  • Knowledge of Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Services, and cloud-native technologies

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Basic understanding of governance and controls for automation
COMPENSATION

High‑Cost Range (includes New York): $97,300 – 146,000 Disclaimer: This role is aligned to a national market-based pay range. Actual compensation will vary based on geographic location, experience, skills, and other job‑related factors. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in a bonus incentive plan. Incentive compensation is based on individual and company performance and is not guaranteed.
