Freelance Pos Testing Jobs (NOW HIRING)

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior IT QA Lead/Tester with deep expertise in Retail POS Systems. This is a hands-on testing role within a fast-paced, cross-functional QA team supporting onshore/offshore delivery models. The ideal candidate will have strong retail domain knowledge, excellent testing skills, and the ability to drive high-quality POS testing initiatives from start to finish.

• Pay range :$55/hr on w2 to $60/hr on w2

Responsibilities:

• Act as a hands-on Senior QA Lead/Tester for POS testing activities
• Participate in functional and technical design reviews to understand retail workflows and POS integrations
• Create, review, and maintain detailed POS test cases and scenarios
• Validate and prepare accurate test data for execution
• Execute POS test cases and provide clear proof of testing and traceability
• Perform end-to-end testing of POS workflows including sales, returns, refunds, exchanges, promotions, discounts, taxes, and tender processing
• Document defects with detailed evidence and business impact using approved test management tools
• Collaborate with application teams for defect investigation, fixes, and retesting
• Communicate testing status, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality testing outcomes in Agile and Waterfall environments

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience testing Retail POS systems
• Strong understanding of retail transactions and POS workflows
• Proven experience leading execution as a Senior Tester or Hands-on Test Lead
• Ability to validate data using SQL queries
• Experience working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
