Freelance Population Genetics Jobs (NOW HIRING)

As we ramp up for the 2026-2027 school year, we're hiring School-Based Occupational Therapists (OTs) for an on-site assignment in Cook County, IL.

This role supports early childhood students (K-2) as they build the fine motor, sensory, and functional skills needed to access learning and daily school routines. You'll work closely with educators and families to deliver services aligned with IEP/504 goals and support student independence in the classroom.

• Location: On-site (in-person), Cook County, IL
• Student Population: Early Childhood (K-2)
• Duration: ASAP - End of 2026-2027 School Year
• Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

• Provide school-based OT services aligned with IEP/504 goals
• Support development of fine motor skills (handwriting, cutting, classroom tools)
• Address sensory processing and self-regulation to improve classroom participation
• Recommend and implement adaptive tools/equipment as appropriate
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and families
• Document services, progress, and compliance requirements

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license (required)
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to work on-site and support a K-2 caseload
