Job description

About Ajaia

Ajaia is an AI implementation consultancy and product studio. We help organizations move from AI experimentation to measurable return on investment across four practices: AI Strategy and Advisory, Workforce Training and Enablement, Process Optimization, and Custom AI Development. Our work sits with executives and the people who do the actual work, and it is judged on whether something changed in production, not on whether a pilot looked good in a deck.

Position Overview

Ajaia is hiring a Marketing Associate to run the channels that put Ajaia and our product suite in front of the people who make AI adoption decisions. You will own the day-to-day of our social accounts, help launch and build Ajaia's podcast, write the copy that goes out under our name, and hold the calendar that makes sure something ships every week.

This is a creative seat. We want a strong writer with real taste, someone who uses AI to make excellent work faster, not to make more work that reads like AI made it. The material you work from is what the business is actually doing: engagements landing, products shipping, ideas worth saying in public. Turning that into content people stop for is the job.

Compensation: $70,000 to $100,000 base, plus a performance bonus of up to 100% of base salary.

We are looking for someone who already makes content, for a company, a brand, or themselves, and can point at what it is. You do not need a marketing degree. You need to have shipped things, and you need an ear for the difference between a LinkedIn post, an Instagram caption, and a 45-second video script.

How we expect you to work

AI use is a core execution requirement at Ajaia, not optional tooling. You will use it daily to draft posts, storyboard and cut video, generate first-pass graphics, and turn a raw recording into clips quickly. You are judged on what you keep, not on how much you generate, and work that reads or looks AI-made does not go out under our name.

Platforms and tools change constantly, and staying current with both is part of the job.

What you will do
  • Run Ajaia's and the product suite's social accounts day to day: LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X.
  • Launch and build Ajaia's podcast: find the format, help book the first guests, sit in on the recording, then cut it into clips, write the show notes, and get it distributed.
  • Write email and site copy that sounds like a person wrote it.
  • Hold the weekly content calendar and keep it shipping, not just populated.
  • Support product launches with the content plan that runs alongside them.
  • Pull the numbers every week, say what they actually mean, and bring one thing to change.
  • Build AI-assisted workflows for the repeatable parts of the job so the same output takes less time next month than it did this month.
  • Keep the asset library organized and the brand voice consistent across every channel you touch.

Requirements

  • A strong writer who holds a distinct voice across formats.
  • Comfortable creating and shipping content yourself: writing, video, or design.
  • Skilled with a video editing tool and a design tool.
  • AI fluent: you use AI daily to draft, cut, and iterate content, and you can tell good work from slop.
  • Organized enough to hold a weekly content cadence.
  • Willingness to work on-site in New York.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred and is not a requirement.

Nice to have

  • Experience launching a podcast, newsletter, or show from scratch.
  • Writing experience for a B2B or enterprise audience.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics tools.
  • Experience at an early-stage company with a small marketing team.
