Job description

JOB PURPOSE

We in University IT are seeking a skilled Oracle Cloud Reports Developer to join our dynamic Data Analytics & Reporting team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle Cloud reporting tools such as OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence), BI Publisher, and Fusion Data Intelligence (formerly Fusion Analytics Warehouse). This role will be instrumental in designing and developing scalable, secure, and user-friendly reporting solutions to support enterprise decision-making. The position requires close collaboration with functional teams to transform business needs into actionable insights.
CORE DUTIES:
  • Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using OTBI, BI Publisher, and Fusion Data Intelligence.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate reporting requirements into technical specifications.
  • Build custom data models, subject areas, and data visualizations to support self-service analytics.
  • Optimize report performance and troubleshoot issues related to data accuracy and system integration.
  • Assist in data validation, quality assurance, and system testing for new releases and patches.
  • Provide end-user training and documentation for reports, dashboards, and self-service tools.
  • Partner with functional teams to ensure data alignment with business processes.
  • Support data governance initiatives and promote best practices for secure, compliant reporting.

Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, and Fusion Data Intelligence/Fusion Analytics Warehouse.
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and understanding of relational data models.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud subject areas and metadata layers.
  • Understanding of data security models and role-based access in Oracle Cloud.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

EXPERIENCE:
  • 3+ years of working experience with Oracle Cloud Applications (HCM, EBS is a must)
  • 5+ years of experience working with Oracle databases and Oracle applications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience with Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) / Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) implementation and customization.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, OData connectors, or other integration techniques.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. OAS DV, Tableau) for cross-platform reporting.
  • Understanding of Oracle Cloud architecture and update cycles.
  • Knowledge of Agile or iterative development methodologies.
  • Oracle Cloud certification(s) in reporting, analytics, or related areas.

The expected pay range for this position is $152,535 to $168,000 per annum.
