Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a Meraki Network Engineer for a role with our client.

Job Details:
Role: Meraki Network engineer
Location: Remote (Anywhere in the US or Canada)
Experience Level: Junior
Type: Contractual (Contract-W2/T4)
Assist with a store network lifecycle. The ideal candidate would understand Cisco/Meraki hardware and configurations, be able to navigate the Meraki Dashboard, and be able to provide status updates to management. In addition, this candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to collaborate with others, and can manage and prioritize tasks.
Roles & Responsibilities:
โ€ข Track and report on inventory KPI'S
โ€ข Monitor inventory of life-cycle devices
โ€ข Create and maintain documentation related to network changes
โ€ข Act as the escalation point for addressing anomalies
โ€ข Verify configuration of new devices
โ€ข Ensure life-cycled devices are removed from the Meraki dashboard
โ€ข Provide Detailed Progress Reports on life-cycle status
Skills:
โ€ข 5+ year's networking experience with strong emphasis on Cisco/Meraki technologies (MX, MS, MR Meraki Appliance)
โ€ข Understanding of cloud-managed networking concepts
โ€ข Awareness of Cisco Switch and Wireless hardware
โ€ข Understanding of Meraki Profiles and Templates.
โ€ข Familiarity with Meraki Dashboard terminology and structure
