Job description

  • JOB SUMMARY
    • We’re looking for a Senior Content Strategist who can architect, create, and optimize high-impact content across formats and channels. This role blends editorial excellence, content systems thinking, and multimedia storytelling. You’ll build structured content hubs on our website, translate complex clinical concepts into accessible narratives, and ensure our content performs in an SEO- and AI-driven search landscape.

      If you’re a seasoned storyteller with a background in journalism, editorial work, or media production — and you love turning complexity into clarity — this role will feel like home.

      The position is hybrid, with in-person offices located in Allentown, Pa., and requires some travel around the Pennsylvania and NJ region.

      This position reports to the Director of Marketing.

  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    • Content Architecture & Strategy

      • Build diagnosis/disease- and treatment-focused content hubs that serve as authoritative, structured resources.
      • Develop content frameworks aligned with SEO and AI-driven search behavior, semantic search, and user intent.
      • Maintain and evolve the editorial calendar, ensuring consistent, strategic publishing.
    • Content Creation & Editorial Excellence

      • Write long-form, authoritative content that is accurate, engaging, and optimized for search.
      • Conduct provider interviews and translate clinical or technical concepts into clear, human-centered narratives.
      • Create Q&A libraries and blogs, case studies, and patient-friendly explainers.
      • Produce video explainers, scripts, press releases and podcast content in collaboration with internal and external partners.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration

      • Provide content for email marketing campaigns.
      • Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), providers, clinicians, and internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and alignment.
      • Manage and guide freelance writers and production companies ensuring quality, consistency, and adherence to brand voice.

  • QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Education
        • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or a relevant field.
      • Work Experience
        • 5–10 years of experience in content strategy, journalism, editorial work, or multimedia production.
        • Experience interviewing subject-matter experts and translating complex information into accessible content.
        • Healthcare experience is not required, but familiarity with clinical or scientific topics is a plus.
