Overview

Bowhead seeks a Modeling/Simulation Analyst to support the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC) in Albuquerque, NM.

Responsibilities

Serves as baseline modeling and simulation analyst Accesses data, conducts all M&S functions and provides deliverables up to the SECRET classification level Under supervision, conducts modeling and simulation functions or operations such as, but not limited to, exercises, plans, coordination, demonstrations, and instruction in the fields such as, but not limited to, health, environmental, transportation, law enforcement, military, and civil agencies (Simulation shall include technical analyses and assessments to develop recommendations, and maintain system integration labs, facilities, and analysis tools) Conduct M&S activities in support of the analyses, exercises, wargames, and experiments conducted by the Government to include information exchange and coordination for model capabilities, technical standards, interoperability and reuse, model and simulation support planning, model and simulation data and architecture management, configuration management, development and verification, validation, and accreditation Provides instruction on the proper operation and use of simulation models and exercises and may support live, constructive, or virtual training Utilizes RF modeling and simulation software to manipulate antenna and power models that visualize GPS denial in potentially affected areas (Modeling software includes: GIANT, GIANT RPM, Builder, Systems Toolkit (STK), and other modeling and simulation programs as needed)

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

BA/BS in modeling and simulation, computer science, math or other related field Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience (prior military simulation or wargame experience preferred)

Desired:

Apprentice Certified Modeling & Simulation Professional (CMSP) or equivalent

Must currently hold a Secret security clearance.

Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
