Overview

At Publicis Media, we're looking for a freelance Senior or Supervisor Media Planner to join our performance media strategy team - experts who combine data-driven insights with cultural understanding to drive real, measurable results for our clients.

As a freelancer, you'll have the flexibility to plug into exciting projects while partnering with a team that's moving at the pace of culture. We're seeking a detail-oriented, strategic thinker who's comfortable analyzing data, presenting insights, and coaching junior team members.

Responsibilities
  • Own day-to-day campaign oversight, focusing on performance reporting, analysis, and optimization.

  • Analyze campaign data daily, compile/check reporting from partners and CM360, and identify optimization opportunities.

  • Stay on top of the client's business goals, audience insights, industry trends, and competitive landscape.

  • Build media strategies that directly align with marketing objectives and consumer behavior.

  • Oversee budget allocations and ensure media plans are strategic, effective, and cost-efficient.

  • Present plans to clients and guide planners on the development of decks and strategies.

  • Build strong relationships with media partners and execution teams.

  • Use syndicated media research and reporting tools to enhance strategies.

  • Own status documents, internal communications, and client updates.

  • Lead POV (Point-of-View) development on trends, tools, and opportunities.

  • Manage data collection and monthly billing accuracy.

Qualifications
  • Understanding of the digital and traditional performance marketing ecosystem
  • 2-3 years experience planning online and offline channels with emphasis on digital and performance media
  • Bachelor's degree; degree or concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, and communications preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated experience in negotiation
  • Able to work successfully within a team, owning projects and knowing when to delegate to manage a high volume client, while meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • Strong analytical abilities & proficiency in math
  • Ability to effectively utilize media research and reporting resources
  • Technical proficiency, particularly with media systems and MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
