Location: Bellevue, Washington

Job Type: Part-Time (15 - 20h/week)

Start Date: July 28th, 2026

Pay Range: $40/teaching hr + $20/non teaching hr

Think Academy is looking for passionate and enthusiastic educators to join our team as Part-Time Math Content Teachers. In this role, you will inspire young learners through engaging math instruction while creating a positive and supportive classroom environment. Beyond teaching, you'll help students build confidence by providing personalized feedback, additional learning support, and maintaining open communication with parents.

Your Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a content teacher. As a crucial member of our educational community, the successful candidate will work closely with teachers to create a positive and supportive learning environment for elementary school students in math class. This position involves providing assistance in classroom activities, supporting students by providing feedback and extra practice, and communicate with their parents to provide suggestions.

What You Will Do:

  • Teach mathematics to students in Grades 6–8
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons using Think Academy's curriculum and instructional resources
  • Create a positive and productive classroom environment for up to 16 students
  • Assess student learning by grading assignments, quizzes, and classwork
  • Provide individualized academic support and constructive feedback to help students achieve their learning goals
  • Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding academic progress and recommendations
  • Collaborate with the Teaching Management team to continuously improve instructional quality
  • Work 12–20 hours per week, primarily during weekday evenings and weekends

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree or above (or currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree)
  • Mathematics, Education, Engineering, Science, or other STEM-related majors are preferred
  • Prior experience teaching or tutoring middle school mathematics is preferred, but not required
  • Strong understanding of middle school math concepts and effective instructional practices
  • Passion for teaching and helping students succeed academically
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Responsible, patient, and enthusiastic about working with students
  • Able to commit to at least one full teaching semester:
    • Spring: January – May
    • Summer: June – August
    • Fall: August – December
  • Available to teach during weekday evenings and weekends

Pay Range:

  • $40/hr (Teaching Fee) + $20/hr (Non-Teaching Fee)
    • Teachers will be assigned 3-8 classes per week
  • Target Commission based on student retention
