The Content Developer / Editor will review articles and other written materials, provide editorial guidance, coach writers on content requirements and brand alignment, and conduct quality assessments of copy-edited material prior to final publication. Required Qualifications
- Master's degree.
- Previous experience supporting Geographic or Functional Combatant Command missions, large organizations/headquarters staff activities.
- Demonstrated professional experience in writing, editing, journalism, communications, publishing, content development, or a closely related field.
- Experience reviewing and assessing articles and other written products for accuracy, clarity, consistency, quality, and adherence to established editorial and brand standards.
- Experience providing editorial guidance and coaching writers on content requirements, messaging, brand alignment, voice, and overall quality.
- Demonstrated ability to provide senior-level editorial review and feedback to ensure final products support mission and client objectives.
- Experience collaborating with content managers, writers, freelancers, editors, and other content-production professionals while managing multiple products and competing deadlines.
- Strong written communication, editing, organizational, editorial judgment, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Current Department of War (DoW) Top Secret clearance.
