We are currently looking for ''Senior Robotics Automation Engineer (Motion Control & Machine Vision) | Onsite Tucson, AZ | W2-Contract'' to support one of our clients with the following skills:

Requirement:

Job Title: Senior Robotics Automation Engineer (Motion Control & Machine Vision) | Onsite Tucson, AZ | W2-Contract

Location: Tucson, AZ (Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Pay Rate: $55/hr-$65/hr on W2

Top Skills: Experience with mechanical, electrical, and software prototyping.ย SolidWorks, Experience with some robotic software (ABB RobotStudio preferred), Motion control systems and machine vision.

Interview Process: Screening call followed by an Oniste interview.

Notes:

  • Resource will support the development ofย industrial automation solutions.
  • Strong experience withย SolidWorksย is required.
  • Experience in theย medical device industryย is preferred. Candidates from theย aerospaceย andย automotiveย industries can be considered.
  • Team is currently working withย Collaborative Robots (Cobots)ย and focused onย research, development, and prototypingย activities.
  • Prior experience withย rapid prototypingย is required.
  • Experience withย machine visionย for calibration, object detection, and robot guidance
  • Strong background inย automation and motion control systems.
  • Experience withย electronic control systems, including: PID control, PLCs, Industrial control systems
  • Hands-on experience withย motion control technologies, including: Stepper motors, Servo motors, Encoders, Feedback control systems
  • Role responsibilities will be approximately:
  • 70% Motion Control & Automation Engineering
  • 30% High-Level Programming (Python)
