You will lead a team of Product Managers, and partner closely with Engineering, Program Management, and Business Development in order to translate user needs and mission requirements into clear product priorities. This role will also include a focus on developing regional manufacturing localization and partner co-production whilst driving revenue growth across defense and commercial markets.

This role requires strong judgment, technical fluency, and the ability to make tradeoffs in a resource-constrained environment.

  • Product Portfolio Strategy
    • Own product strategy and roadmap across aircraft, payloads, ground control, and supporting software.
    • Define product architectures that support localization, modularization, and controlled technology transfer.
    • Drive platform reuse and derivative product strategies for regional markets.
  • International Productization
    • Lead product localization requirements (regulatory, environmental, language, infrastructure).
    • Partner with compliance to define allowable technical data packages for foreign manufacturing.
    • Enable multi-site manufacturing through standardized BOMs, test strategies, and documentation.
  • Requirements and Lifecycle Management
    • Own product requirements and roadmap governance.
    • Manage lifecycle from concept through international deployment and sustainment.
    • Drive configuration management discipline and variant control.
    • Partner closely with Engineering to ensure product plans are technically sound and executable.
    • Work with Program Management to align product roadmaps with delivery commitments and schedules.
  • Market & Customer Intelligence
    • Translate operator and customer needs into clear, prioritized requirements and user stories.
    • Serve as the voice of the customer internally, informed by direct user engagement, field feedback, and operational data.
    • Define product success metrics and use them to guide decisions and tradeoffs.
    • Inform pricing, packaging, and product positioning in collaboration with Business Development and Sales.
  • Team Leadership & Scaling
    • Lead and develop a team of Product Managers responsible for defining and delivering product requirements.
    • Develop platform owners and international product leads.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience building and shipping complex hardware-software products.
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycles, from concept through sustainment.
  • Ability to work effectively with engineering teams and understand technical constraints.
