Job description

We are looking for a life insurance agent with amazing customer service skills to join our fast-growing insurance agency and help clients achieve their financial goals. You’ll serve on the front lines of insurance sales, helping new customers navigate our products, processing claims and inquiries, and developing an ever-growing lead list to secure new business. Compensation:

$60,000 - $120,000


Responsibilities:
  • Onboard incoming and retain existing clients via a variety of customer service tasks, such as appointment booking, and responding to inquiries regarding billing, coverage, eligibility, and insurance policies
  • Process current policyholders’ insurance claims while monitoring the status of existing insurance claims
  • Ensure all contracting paperwork is up to date while maintaining databases, records, and bookkeeping
  • Grow new business by generating a prospective customer base and advertise our insurance products via networking, asking for referrals, cold calling, and other marketing strategies
  • Evaluate new customers’ insurance needs, insurance risk, existing coverage, long-term goals, and financial status through consultations to create a tailored experience that exceeds expectations
  • Build and maintain meaningful relationships with individuals, families, and business owners to understand their financial goals and needs.
  • Develop personalized financial strategies, including life insurance, retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and asset protection solutions.
  • Educate clients on financial products and services while providing ongoing guidance throughout their financial journey.
  • Prospect and network to generate new business opportunities through referrals, community involvement, and professional relationships.
  • Conduct client meetings to review financial objectives, assess changing needs, and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining regular communication and providing long-term support to clients.
  • Complete state licensing requirements and participate in ongoing training and professional development.
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  • Collaborate with experienced mentors and team members to build a successful and rewarding financial services practice.
  • Continuously develop product knowledge, sales skills, and financial planning expertise to grow your career and better serve clients.

Qualifications:
  • Previous health insurance or life insurance experience a plus
  • Previous customer service or experience as a sales representative preferred
  • Active Life & Health insurance license is a strong bonus
  • Possesses outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, business development, education, healthcare, hospitality, banking, or other relationship-focused roles is a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with an enterprising mindset and the ability to work independently.
  • Goal-oriented with a strong work ethic and a desire to build a long-term career.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Passion for helping individuals, families, and business owners achieve financial security.
  • Willingness to obtain the required state insurance licenses (Life & Health) with company training and support.
  • Ability to successfully complete applicable background screening and meet licensing requirements.
