Life Insurance Claims Representative

As a Life Insurance Claims Representative, you will be responsible for the evaluation, investigation, and resolution of individual death claims within established guidelines. You will be providing a superior customer experience to our clients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing superior customer service to our customers
  • Processing and approving claim payments
  • Providing prompt and accurate correspondence to internal and external customers
  • Maintaining accurate and complete financial records
  • Evaluating, analyzing, and investigating claims
  • Answering phone calls from our policyholders

What sets you up for success:

  • Some college or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Experience working for a life insurance company
  • Understanding of life insurance claims
  • Strong math or insurance background
  • Continuing education is highly encouraged through achievement of a LOMA designation and/or the ICA Associate, Life and Health Claims designation
  • Strong, proven customer service experience and skills
