Life Insurance Claims Examiner
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Life Insurance Claims Examiner to join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering compassionate service during critical moments. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and adaptable, with the ability to make sound decisions, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders while providing an exceptional customer experience.

This role is fully remote.

Life Insurance Claims Examiner Responsibilities

  • Investigate, review, and evaluate life insurance claims to determine benefit eligibility and ensure accurate claim decisions.
  • Analyze claim documentation, resolve discrepancies, and obtain additional information to support timely claim processing.
  • Administer benefit payments in accordance with policy provisions and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for claim-related inquiries, providing professional support to customers and internal partners.
  • Collaborate across teams, manage assigned client relationships, and contribute to departmental initiatives and special projects.

Life Insurance Claims Examiner Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelors degree preferred.
  • Two years of relevant professional experience, preferably within financial services or a related industry.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, reading comprehension, and decision-making skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, typing, and general computer applications.
  • Excellent organization, time management, communication, adaptability, and customer service skills, with a willingness to learn, receive coaching, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $18-$19/hr. (DOE)
