Job description

Digital Asset & Template Administrator

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid-1-2 days in office per week)
Employment Type: Freelance contract, approximately 6 months with potential to convert
Start: ASAP

We are seeking a detail-oriented Digital Asset & Template Administrator to help manage and govern a digital asset and branded-template ecosystem. In this role, you will support the day-to-day administration of Bynder and Templafy, helping teams find, use, and maintain approved creative assets and templates efficiently and consistently.

What You'll Do

  • Administer and maintain digital assets, templates, metadata, taxonomy, tagging, and permissions within Bynder and Templafy.
  • Help ensure brand assets and templates are accurate, compliant, organized, and easy for users to find.
  • Support uploads, metadata application, quality checks, access requests, and asset readiness for migrations or imports.
  • Manage user groups, access controls, and permissions in partnership with IT and platform owners.
  • Provide front-line support and guidance for asset usage, template governance, metadata, and platform best practices.
  • Create and maintain training materials, job aids, and documentation for users and administrators.
  • Collaborate with creative, brand, IT, project, and business teams on platform updates, rollout readiness, and governance improvements.
  • Monitor recurring issues and identify opportunities to improve taxonomy, asset organization, permissions, and template usability.

What You'll Bring

  • 2-5 years of experience in content operations, digital asset management, marketing operations, creative operations, or a related field.
  • Experience working with digital asset libraries, CMS or DAM platforms, branded content, or template governance environments.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to apply standards consistently.
  • Comfort working across creative, brand, project management, technical, and business teams.
  • A service-oriented approach to supporting users and resolving operational questions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with DAM administration, metadata, taxonomy, permissions, and asset-quality workflows.
  • Familiarity with Bynder, Templafy, document automation, or brand-compliant content systems.
  • Understanding of user provisioning, access groups, SSO, and cross-system integrations.
  • Experience developing training resources or adoption documentation.
