Job description

Job Summary:
Blue Sky Innovators is seeking an IT Project Manager to provide principal-level advisory and thought leadership to senior DARPA executives. This role focuses on shaping the agency's cybersecurity approach across advanced technology portfolios and requires extensive experience in IT Project Management with a focus on High Performance Computing.
Responsibilities:
• Provide primary support to the government’s HPC Director, Support to the HPC Director.
• Maintain close communication between PM/OD personnel and the HPC Director regarding current and future HPC requirements across the agency.
• Support the HPC Director in overall HPC Strategy Development and Execution for the agency.
• Engaging with external DoW partners and investors in HPC related initiatives.
• Serve as DARPA’s Service/Agency Approval Authority (S/AAA) within the DoD HPCMP ecosystem to liaison with DARPA program managers and their contracted scientists and engineers to secure computational resources on their behalf.
• Allocate DARPA-assigned CPU compute hours on HPCMP and DARPA systems.
• Provide day-to-day linkage with DARPA organizations, the HPCMP and other S/AAAs across the HPCMP community.
• Ensure Project Leaders and authorized HPCMP users are performing work in support of DARPA and the DoD.
• Implement HPC requirements surveys, resource allocation, resource monitoring and resource reallocation.
• Provide guidance to users on which HPC assets are appropriate for their projects.
• Trade allocations with other S/AAAs across the HPCMP community.
• Under the agile methodology, serve as a Product Manager for any DARPA HPC projects to develop acceptance criteria defining desirable, viable, feasible, and sustainable solutions that meet customer needs.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Must have demonstrated a minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting HPC requirements, services, equities or customers within USG HPC communities, such as the DOD
• High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP)
• Minimum Top-Secret clearance, eligible for access to SCI and SAP
