Core Responsibilities

  • Mission-Critical Design Leadership: Architect and execute robust electrical power distribution systems, system definitions, equipment selections, and high-reliability configurations for complex mission-critical facilities.

  • Technical Quality & Stewardship: Act as the Lead Electrical Engineer across assigned projects, ensuring a precise balance between technical quality, production schedules, documentation milestones, and budget constraints.

  • Client Advisory & Decision Support: Partner directly with project owners and stakeholders to evaluate sophisticated design options, providing clear, strategic recommendations that weigh reliability, redundancy, constructability, and lifecycle impacts.

  • Multidisciplinary Integration: Coordinate seamlessly across architectural, mechanical, civil, and technology disciplines to deliver code-compliant, perfectly integrated building systems.

  • Construction Phase Ownership: Serve as the owner's primary technical representative during construction, managing RFI responses, submittal reviews, and field observations while swiftly resolving engineering challenges.

  • Team Mentorship & Development: Cultivate the next generation of engineering talent by providing structured technical guidance, coaching, and comprehensive quality reviews for junior engineers and designers.

  • Experience: 6+ years of progressive engineering experience specifically within the MEP consulting engineering industry.

  • Technical Mastery: Proven expertise in producing and leading comprehensive electrical power distribution designs, drawing markups, and multi-discipline construction documentation under fast-paced conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Software Proficiency: Advanced, hands-on experience utilizing Revit within a collaborative BIM environment.

  • Sector Expertise: Deep specialized experience designing systems for data centers, telecommunications, or high-reliability, redundant power environments.

  • Leadership Alignment: Demonstrated interest in mentoring staff, championing quality assurance, or participating in community-focused, service-minded initiatives.
