Job description

Freelance Hair & Makeup Artist (As Needed)

Dressy Fits Photography is seeking a talented, dependable Hair and Makeup Artist to collaborate with on select portrait sessions in the Houston area.


This is an as-needed opportunity primarily supporting female clients during boudoir, fitness, branding, and creative portrait sessions. I currently photograph approximately one client per week, although some weeks may not include a female client or require hair and makeup services. Because of this, consistent weekly hours are not guaranteed.


Compensation

  • Starting pay: $20 per hour
  • Two-hour minimum guaranteed for every booking—even if your services are completed in less than two hours
  • Additional time paid at the same hourly rate
  • As my clientele and business volume grow, my goal is to increase compensation to approximately double the starting rate


I am looking for someone who understands that this is currently a growing opportunity. Before increasing the rate, I need time to experience your work firsthand, establish a reliable working relationship, and build the client demand to support it.
