The Senior Modeling and Simulation Engineer
provides advanced simulation and modeling support for complex engineering projects, leveraging virtual environments to evaluate system performance, durability, safety, and functionality. - 10+ years of relevant civilian or military professional experience.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Modeling and Simulation, or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated experience using computer simulation technologies, including probabilistic, SIL, and HIL simulations.
- Proficiency in contemporary programming languages including C++ and Fortran for simulation and modeling.
- Experience developing virtual data visualization products to display real-time simulation results.
- Ability to support modeling of complex systems with multiple changing variables.
- Active DOD Secret clearance.
Preferred Requirements:
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Modeling and Simulation, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience developing simulations using the Unity game engine.
- Experience with virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) application development.
