NC ASL Freelance Interpreter Application
📍 Location
  • Based in Charlotte, NC for on-site interpreting
  • Open to interpreters located anywhere in the United States for VRI/OPI opportunities

🎓 Qualifications
  • Fully bilingual, fluent in English and language applying for.
  • Technologically proficient (familiar with Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. (Green Card or higher)
  • Clean driving record, valid driver's insurance, and reliable transportation

  • Accurately interpret spoken communication in real-time
  • Communicate clearly and professionally in both languages
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and interpreter Code of Ethics
  • Manage your own flexible schedule and accept appointments as needed
  • Provide services on-site, via video (VRI), or by phone (OPI)
