Order Entry / Customer Service Representative (Bilingual)

For over 25 years, Walkenhorst's has made it possible to send packages to inmates incarcerated in correctional facilities. We serve inmates and their families and friends across the nation. We are family-owned and operated and committed to quality service, selection, and complete satisfaction.

Job Description

Summary of major responsibilities.

  • Answering incoming customer phone calls
  • Processing orders over the phone and by mail
  • Data entry.

Job Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to.

  • Respond to the needs of customers and provide personalized service
  • Manage & update customer databases
  • Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions and/or alternatives.
  • Manage large amounts of inbound calls in a timely manner
  • Office-related duties such as making copies and scanning documents

Qualifications include.

  • Organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Excellent customer service
  • Strong verbal communication skills along with active listening

Job Type: Full-time, Hourly Position

  • Hours are Monday- Friday
    • 9 am-6 pm (with one-half day)
    • 9 am-1 pm on Scheduled Saturdays.
    • Typical work week is 40 hours.
