As part of the Engineering organization, this position contributes to the design, development, and implementation of safe and reliable Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) solutions, ensuring alignment with global fire protection standards, codes, and industry best practices.Working closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Safety, Quality, and Permitting, the Fire Protection Engineer I helps translate complex fire protection requirements into practical engineering solutions that support Fluence's growing global project portfolio. The role is responsible for analyzing fire risks, supporting product and project-level fire protection designs, evaluating compliance requirements, and contributing to testing and validation activities.The successful candidate will apply engineering principles to improve product safety, support regulatory approvals, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
