Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The job duties, responsibilities, and requirements represent the required knowledge, skill, and/or ability but may not be all-inclusive. Additional functions and requirements may be assigned by supervisors as deemed appropriate.


Financial Analysis:

  • Prepare monthly variance analyses comparing actual results to budget and prior periods
  • Assist with annual budget preparation and quarterly forecasts
  • Prepare financial models and ad hoc analyses
  • Analyze financial trends and identify anomalies
  • Assist in preparing executive and Board reports
  • Prepare daily cash and liquidity reports
  • Assist with cash flow forecasting
  • Prepare investment summaries and investment activity reports
  • Assist with loan, deposit, and concentration risk analyses
  • Support asset/liability management reporting
  • Assist to perform product, branch, and portfolio profitability analyses
  • Assist with ROI analyses for marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Prepare business performance reports for management
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards
  • Create automated reports using Excel, Power Query, and Power BI
  • Assist with SQL queries to retrieve and validate data
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports
  • Identify trends, exceptions, and business opportunities through data analysis
  • Assist in automating recurring reports and manual processes
  • Utilize AI tools to improve productivity, reporting, and documentation
  • Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency
  • Work with Finance, Lending, Marketing, Operations, and Digital Banking to understand reporting needs
  • Assist in translating business requirements into reporting solutions
  • Present findings and recommendations to management as appropriate
  • Assist with requests from auditors and regulatory examiners
  • Maintain supporting documentation for financial analyses
  • Ensure reports comply with regulatory and internal reporting standards


Requirements

Experience/Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or Business Administration required
  • Master's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) year of experience in financial analysis, accounting, business intelligence, data analysis, or banking
  • Experience in financial services, credit union, or banking preferred


Other Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Lookup Functions, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Financial Modeling
  • Solid budgeting and forecasting fundamentals
  • Must display excellent communication skills, writing skills, and excellent listening skills, including the ability to present information effectively
  • Must have advanced knowledge and experience with Windows Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Must be team-oriented and a strong communicator and relationship builder while establishing trust and credibility
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and summarize data and prepare clear and concise reports
  • Experience driving, leading, and managing organizational change.
  • Ability to prioritize and efficiently handle a variety of tasks at one time in a busy and dynamic work environment
  • Ability to maintain a good working relationship with all team members, vendors, and members; use good judgment in recognizing the scope of authority
