Job Description

The Senior Client Reporting Analysts reports directly to the Client Reporting Manager. This position will partner with the Finance Directors and Client Finance Leads within the Brands of Publicis North America to oversee all financial aspects related to a given client or group of clients. The Sr. Analyst should have a strong understanding of the general accounting principles, be self-motivated, and have strong intra-departmental communication skills.

Responsibilities

Create/review accurate Burn Reports to compare actual hours vs budget and escalate to Client Finance Lead Partner with accounting team to submit revenue entries during month end calculating based on time & materials, percent of completion, etc. Responsible for mid-month revenue estimates (flash) in order to see where the client(s) is tracking for month end and flagging when there is a significant variance; Assist in the development of revenue targets for assigned clients. Work with HFM team & client finance leads to load accurate revenue forecasts for annual and rolling budgets Reconcile Revenue/client costs within the general ledger and explain variances in results vs forecasts Reconcile time reports for missing time and errors in coding Review WIP, A/R, and accrued revenue aging on a monthly basis. Ensure Client Account Teams are aware of current A/R and WIP aging status and partner with CBM team to ensure appropriate follow-up. Ensure job setup is properly completed to reduce system issues Ensure Agency is in compliance with current contractual guidelines for each client. Assist with external and internal audits

Qualifications

Resilient problem solver - Has the foresight to recognize problems with postings/data, can resolves issues efficiently, and knows when to seek guidance from others Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a changing and fast paced work environment Excellent written/verbal communication skills, and organizational skills to work according to fixed calendar cycles Ability to work independently is a must, as well as in team environment Dedicated to meeting others' expectations and requirements Advanced in Microsoft Excel to streamline and make reports more efficient using functions and formulas, i.e. vlookups, if, sumif, pivot tables, charts/graphs, etc. Experience in SAP and Hyperion HFM is a plus. 2- 3 years of Client Finance experience preferably within Advertising, Marketing and Communications

 Compensation Range: USD $60,800.00 - USD $93,600.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.
