Who are we hiring?
The Freelance Production Assistant will support the Logging and Ticker operations, team (Knicks, Rangers, Islanders & Devils) studio broadcasts and remote production as needed, among other general PA assignments.
What will you do?
• Work as a Production Assistant/Runner during game telecasts.
• Log hockey and basketball games identifying highlights.
• Research statistical information and story lines.
• Support the Feature Producer during remote ENG shoots and edits.
• Provide exceptional experiences for our guests, partners, and team members, including by adhering to our appearance and presentation guidelines while on-site.
What do you need to succeed
• Extensive knowledge of sports, with an emphasis on both the NBA and NHL.
• Knowledge of television production operations.
• Ability to work under pressure and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Availability to work weeknights, weekends, and holiday shifts.
• Ability to sit for long periods at a monitor and operate control devices and software.
• Proficient in MS Office programs, e.g. Excel and Word.
