With visionary chefs, three full-service restaurants, curated eateries, a central bar, and a live stage, Shaver Hall is a gathering place where food, beverage, and entertainment come together. Inspired by Dorothy Shaver’s legacy of creativity and bold innovation, we’re redefining hospitality in the heart of Manhattan.

THE ROLE
Own the marketing engine for Shaver Hall—from event go-to-market to always-on social media, community partnerships, and analytics. You’ll plan and launch campaigns that drive foot traffic and earn attention while protecting and elevating the brand. This role also oversees marketing and social media efforts for onsite restaurant concepts, including Tallow Steakhouse and Pick and Cheese, ensuring a cohesive voice and strategy across all venues within Shaver Hall.

REPORTS TO

Role reports to General Manager of Shaver Hall & to VP of Marketing at FB Society.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Brand & Communications Management

  • Champion Shaver Hall’s brand positioning and guest promise across all channels and touchpoints (web, email/SMS, social, digital signage, on-site collateral).
  • Ensure all consumer-facing messaging aligns with revenue goals and delivers a best-in-class guest experience, aligning with brand standards and the needs of all onsite eatery partners in a collaborative and communicative manner.
  • Maintain brand standards, asset libraries, and messaging frameworks; brief designers/creators and QA output.

Event Marketing (Concerts, Tentpoles & Hall Programming)

  • Build go-to-market plans for entertainment and tiered hall events (positioning, messaging, calendars, briefs, listings, email/SMS hooks).
  • Manage promotional timelines, content capture, and night-of amplification.

Social Media — Strategy, Content & Community

  • Own channel strategy, voice, and publishing across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook; daily community management and DMs.
  • Build comprehensive content calendars for each social channel.
  • Produce and publish short-form videos (Reels/TikTok), stories, and carousels; develop a branded UGC pipeline and manage rights.
  • Launch and manage a NYC creator/influencer program (briefs, contracts, offers, tracking), including comped experiences and content deliverables.
  • Coordinate with paid media partners on social ads; write briefs, approve creative, and monitor performance.

Community & Partnerships (NYC Focus)

  • Build neighborhood and citywide partnerships (CVB, BIDs, hotels, local businesses, universities, cultural organizations, gyms/coworking spaces, arts/music organizations).
  • Work with partners to execute cross-promotions, activations, sampling, and tasting events to drive trial and repeat visits.
  • Cultivate media relationships, ensure events/activations are listed and pitched, and support press nights and talent/VIP hospitality in collaboration with VP of PR at FB Society.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track and share marketing metrics covering traffic, engagement, conversion, and F&B lift on event nights.
  • Maintain campaign scorecards; translate insights into next steps.

Budget & Operations

  • Work with the VP of Marketing on managing the working marketing budget; handle vendor setup, invoicing, and reconciliations.
  • Brief and manage freelancers/creators; source and negotiate as needed.
  • Maintain calendars (marketing, editorial, event) and project workflows (e.g., Monday.com), hitting deadlines with cross-functional partners.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner tightly with Entertainment, Beverage, Operations, and Eatery Partners to align priorities and share results.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3-5 years progressive marketing experience in hospitality, entertainment/venues, or multi-location lifestyle brands.
    • Portfolio of event campaigns and social content with measurable impact (including links or samples).
    • Hands-on content skills: short-form social media video, copywriting, light design/editing (Canva/Adobe)
    • Fluency with IG/TikTok/FB, scheduling/listening.
    • Strong project management; calm under show-time pressure; willing to work evenings/weekends when needed to align with event calendar.
