Medical Assistant
Job Title: Medical Assistant – Primary Care.
Location: Eastern Carolina Medical Center – Benson, NC.
Job Type: Full-Time.
Schedule:
  • Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

Eastern Carolina Medical Center is a busy, patient-focused primary care practice dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our community.

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Medical Assistant to join our primary care team. This position focuses on patient triage, obtaining vital signs, rooming patients, and preparing patients for the provider.

Responsibilities:
  • Patient triage and intake.
  • Obtain and document vital signs.
  • Room patients and prepare for provider.
  • Update EMR records.
  • Assist providers with workflow.
  • Maintain exam rooms.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Medical Assistant experience preferred.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented attitude.
  • EMR experience preferred.
