Please note that this role is strictly an independent contractor position. Freelancers are not employees of Barks and Rec or its vendors and partners. As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for managing your own taxes, insurance, and compliance with applicable laws. Requirements
Duration: Prepare a set up to 2 hours long. Actual set times will vary.
Experience: Prior experience DJing for events. Amateurs with a demonstrated passion and understanding of the genre are welcome.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using standard DJing equipment and software, with the ability to mix and match different musical styles effectively.
Musical Knowledge: A strong understanding of EDM and house music genres, including knowledge of various sub-genres, trends, and key artists.
Professionalism: Adherence to scheduled performance times, Code of Conduct, and collaboration with event coordinators and fellow facilitators.
