Now Hiring: Line Cook Location: Hobart/Oneida, WI Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Department: Culinary / Food & Beverage About Thornberry Creek at Oneida Perched atop one of the highest points in Brown County, Thornberry Creek at Oneida is Northeast Wisconsin's premier golf and event destination. As the official golf course of the Green Bay Packers and former host of the LPGA Tour, our property features 27 holes of championship golf set against breathtaking natural ridge views. Beyond golf, Thornberry Creek is a vibrant hub for exceptional hospitality.

Our food and beverage operation spans a high-volume Sports Pub & Grill, expansive outdoor patio dining, and the Hawks Crest Ballroom, which hosts weddings, banquets, and corporate events for up to 300 guests year-round. Position Summary We are looking for a reliable, passionate, and energetic Line Cook to join our kitchen team. Whether executing prepping and executing favorites for golfers in our restaurant, or pumping out pub dishes during peak dinner hours, you'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities Station Prep & Execution: Set up and stock stations; prepare high-quality food according to recipe specifications and menu standards. Speed & Accuracy: Maintain efficiency during high-volume rushes, ensuring timely order completion without compromising quality or presentation. Safety & Sanitation: Adhere strictly to state health, safety, and sanitation guidelines, including temperature controls and station cleanliness.

Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly alongside banquet cooks, dishwashers, and service staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations. Inventory & Care: Help monitor inventory, minimize waste, and properly operate and maintain commercial kitchen equipment. Other Duties: Assist with closing duties including station cleanup and dishes.

Assist with banquet preparation and execution when necessary. Qualifications & Skills Experience: 1+ years of line cook or commercial kitchen experience preferred (high-volume grill, saute, or banquet prep experience is a plus). Skills: Strong knife skills and familiarity with standard cooking methods, kitchen tools, and food safety practices.

Stamina & Punctuality: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and arrive reliably for scheduled shifts. Flexibility: Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays tailored around event schedules and seasonal volume. Team Mindset: Positive attitude, clear communication, and composure under pressure.
