Position Description

The Marketing Manager will serve as a key driver of Penhalls marketing operations, responsible for executing and optimizing digital marketing strategies that directly support revenue growth and sales priorities. This role focuses on demand generation, structured planning, and performance-driven execution across digital channels.

This is a REMOTE job that may involve some travel (<25%).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own and manage digital marketing strategy execution, ensuring alignment with company growth initiatives and sales priorities
  • Establish and maintain a weekly marketing planning cadence to drive consistency and proactive execution
  • Develop and manage a centralized marketing content calendar aligned to target markets and service lines
  • Partner with Sales Leadership and Account Managers to support pipeline development, strategic selling, and planned work initiatives
  • Execute demand generation campaigns across digital platforms, including paid media, email, and web-based initiatives
  • Optimize landing pages and digital experiences to improve lead generation, engagement, and conversion rates
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality, consistent content aligned with Penhalls value proposition
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts and manage freelance resources to scale content development
  • Align project and customer-focused content with Account Manager goals and market priorities
  • Maintain and optimize company websites with a focus on content accuracy, brand consistency, and conversion effectiveness
  • Manage third-party marketing platforms and integrations to support campaign performance and tracking
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, including reach, lead activity, call attribution, and website engagement
  • Develop and maintain simple marketing performance scorecards to track effectiveness and inform decision-making
  • Manage social media platforms with a focus on brand credibility and targeted visibility, not vanity metrics
  • Improve cross-functional communication through proactive planning and pre-informs
  • Coordinate marketing efforts across sales, operations, and leadership to ensure alignment and efficiency
  • Stay informed on emerging marketing trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve performance
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager
Position Requirements

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including paid media, SEO, email marketing, and content marketing
  • Experience with marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM platforms, call tracking tools)
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple marketing initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in website content management systems (CMS) and basic understanding of conversion optimization
  • Experience managing content development across internal and external resources
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear and compelling messaging
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and leadership teams
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and execution discipline

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, demand generation, or marketing operations
  • Experience supporting B2B, construction, or industrial services environments preferred
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • Ability to travel occasionally for meetings, site visits, or team collaboration
