Location: Pontiac, MI or Hybrid

Geek Town USA (GTU) is seeking a smart, creative, and data-driven Paid Ads Strategist to join our growing team. In this role, youโ€™ll develop and execute crossโ€‘channel digital advertising campaigns that drive results for our clients across Google Ads, Meta Ads, and additional platforms like LinkedIn, TikTok, and Microsoft Ads.

The ideal candidate knows how to pair compelling creative with sharp targeting and clear KPIs. You should be equally comfortable writing ad copy, analyzing performance data, and adjusting strategy to meet client goals. If youโ€™re driven by optimization and thrive in a collaborative, fastโ€‘moving agency environmentโ€”this is the role for you.

Responsibilities
  • Build, manage, and optimize paid ad campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, Video, PMax) and Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram)
  • Develop platformโ€‘specific ad strategies tailored to client objectives (lead gen, eCommerce, awareness)
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance using Google Analytics, platform dashboards, and internal tracking systems
  • Collaborate with designers and copywriters to produce effective creatives and test variants
  • Create and implement tracking strategies (pixels, conversion events, UTMs, GA4 goals)
  • Stay up to date on trends, beta features, and platform changes; bring fresh ideas to the table
  • Present campaign strategies and results to clients in clear, compelling ways
  • Help guide budget allocation and pacing decisions to meet performance targets
  • Contribute to media planning and funnel strategy in collaboration with other GTU team members
  • Occasionally assist with onboarding new clients or helping set up accounts and tracking
Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience running paid media campaigns, preferably in an agency or freelance setting
  • Strong proficiency with Google Ads (Search, Display, Video, Performance Max)
  • Proficiency with Meta Ads Manager and other social platforms (TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Comfortable setting up Google Analytics 4, GTM tags, pixels, and conversion tracking
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
  • Strong copywriting instincts and an eye for creativity that performs
  • Selfโ€‘starter with a testing mindset and desire to improve performance regularly
