Job description

Since its founding in 1937, Krispy Kreme's focus has remained the same - making fresh doughnuts using our founder's original recipe. The brand's iconic Hot Light lets consumers know when doughnuts are being made in the shop so they can stop in and enjoy them hot, right off the line.

You will be working closely with internal and external business partners, database administrators and application developers to implement data integration solutions that are scalable, reliable, and efficient.
A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Maintain and update integration applications, ensuring their operational readiness.
  • Collaborate closely with other team members, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and implement effective integration solutions.

  • Assist end-users and other teams with data integration-related queries and challenges.
  • Ability to work on multiple parallel efforts and adjust focus based on business needs
  • Adhere to security and data governance standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Work to evolve legacy solutions toward a modern, cloud-based data architecture.
  • Develop and implement canonical data models to standardize data representation across multiple systems.
  • Support the evaluation, selection, and implementation of best-in-class technologies.
  • Monitor data quality, troubleshoot issues, and optimize integration processes to achieve high-quality, reliable data flow.
  • When data discrepancies or errors arise, they will work closely with the team to diagnose and address them promptly.
  • Identify and resolve gaps between business requirements and existing solutions.
  • Help to shape the organization's data integration practices by providing insights and recommendations to ensure the delivery of high quality and supportable solutions.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and relational databases.
  • Experience in creating context and sequence diagrams to depict data pipelines.
  • Strong knowledge of design patterns to create reusable, maintainable, and efficient data processing solutions.
  • Knowledgeable in utilizing third party Rest APIs for integration of external data.
  • Strong proficiency in full stack of ETL/ELT technology tools including SQL Server, Snowflake, Python, SSIS, and Azure Data Factory.
