Data Center Engineer- Locations

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Center Technician to support our data center operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining hardware, supporting infrastructure, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the data center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers and network equipment
  • Monitor data center systems and respond to alerts and incidents
  • Perform regular hardware maintenance and upgrades
  • Document procedures, configurations, and issues
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for support and escalation
  • Maintain physical security and environmental controls (power, cooling, cabling)

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate s or Bachelor s degree in IT or related field preferred)
  • 1 2 years of experience in a data center or IT support role
  • Basic understanding of networking, server hardware, and operating systems
  • Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 50 lbs) as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
  • Availability for shift work, on-call support, and occasional weekends

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ticketing systems and data center monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with structured cabling standards and best practices
