We're looking for an exceptional Associate Visual Designer to join our international creative team, helping shape how audiences discover and engage with WEBTOON across platform, social, paid media, and real-world touchpoints. This role is focused on creating high-impact, performance-driven design that attracts new audiences while deepening engagement with existing fans across channels.
We're seeking a detail-oriented, trend-aware designer who is a strong problem solver and can operate both autonomously and collaboratively. The ideal candidate brings strong visual fundamentals and understands how to translate creative concepts into compelling, audience-first design that performs. They are able to balance regional nuance with global appeal, ensuring work resonates across diverse markets while contributing to scalable creative output.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Design high-impact creative across multiple channels, including platform (app, mobile, desktop), social, paid media, and marketing campaigns
  • Create visually compelling assets that drive audience acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Translate series IP into clear, engaging visuals that communicate story, tone, and appeal to new audiences
  • Partner with video and motion teams to concept and develop creative for performance-driven campaigns
  • Collaborate closely with Art Directors, Creative Directors, marketers, and cross-functional partners in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
  • Apply trend awareness and audience insights to develop work that feels culturally relevant and timely
  • Contribute to creative ideation and execution for campaigns, launches, and key moments across the business
  • Design across additional touchpoints as needed, including OOH, events, and promotional materials
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities, maintaining clear communication and delivering high-quality work on time

What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in visual design for digital platforms at a creative agency, production company, or in-house team
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating performance-minded creative, campaign work, and/or audience-driven design
  • Excellent typography, color, and layout skills, with a strong understanding of composition and visual hierarchy
  • Understanding of how design impacts user behavior, engagement, and marketing performance
  • Ability to design for diverse audiences with an awareness of both regional nuance and global appeal
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, video, product, and other creative teams
  • Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator; familiarity with motion tools (After Effects, Premiere) is a plus
  • Passion for storytelling, entertainment, and pop culture (comics, games, film, TV, animation)
  • Local to the Los Angeles metropolitan area. Position will be a hybrid role with in-office work 2 - 3 days a week.

$30 - $40 an hour
