Job description

Opportunity

We seek a Project Manager to help us create some of the most engaging digital, print, and video content in the marketing industry.

teamDigital is a 30-person, fast-paced digital marketing agency serving some of the greatest client brands in the world, including Mastercard, NASCAR, T-Mobile, Carnival Cruise Lines, and many more.

Our ideal candidate is comfortable working in a small creative agency environment. The right candidate is a motivated team player, enjoys contributing innovative ideas, is organized with strong attention to detail, works efficiently under tight deadlines, and has a demonstrable ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.

As Project Manager, you will work within our Project Management team in partnership with our Account, Creative, Tech, and Admin teams, to help execute next-level promotions and digital experiences. Our work spans marketing, events, retail, social media, web, mobile, AI, AR, eComm, voice, video, and print – no boundaries in a transforming attention ecosystem.

This opportunity offers a flexible, hybrid remote/in-office work model. Plus, if you’re cool with unlimited snacks, some dogs in the office, and an in-house gym – we’ve got all that, too.

This full-time role job pays $70k - $85k, commensurate with experience, and as hybrid requires at least one day per week to work directly with teammates on-site at our office in Bethel CT.

Job Responsibilities

Project and Program Management: Work with internal and client teams closely to define, estimate, launch, and manage projects from pitch through completion/decommission.

  • Manage simultaneous projects within budgetary and schedule constraints.
  • Monitor, report, prioritize, and solve for project progress and risk.
  • Escalate as necessary to ensure integrity of client scopes and agency profitability.

Resource Management: Align with department heads to allocate and manage talent to ensure resources are available and present at appropriate times throughout the project lifecycle.

Quality Assurance: Coordinate with team leads to assure project quality.

  • Responsible for maintaining the required level of quality through every step of the delivery process.
  • Test digital projects across multiple devices, browsers, and versions to ensure project is functionally sound.
  • Managing and resolving bugs that are found during unit testing, internal staging, client staging, launch, and post-production.

Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Address any challenges that arise during the development process, finding creative solutions that meet the goals of the project while adhering to the timeline.

What You Need To Succeed/Requirements

  • Minimum 3-6 years of project management experience, ideally in a digital marketing/creative agency environment
  • Solid understanding of web design and concepts like user flow, wireframes, leaderboards, registration/intake forms, and current social media standards.
  • Experience managing custom website, web application, or software development projects.
  • Technical fluency with working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), cloud services (AWS), databases, and system architecture.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on deadlines and urgency.
  • Ability to work independently and be a team player, self-starter, innovation-inspired, and persistent troubleshooter comfortable working within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial-spirited, collaborative and creative team culture.
  • Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) interpersonal skills.
  • Time management skills and the ability to tackle challenges effectively.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP and/or CSM Certification (or desire to get this)
  • Working knowledge of enterprise tools (JIRA, Mantis, Basecamp, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Slack, Productive.io)
  • Ability to leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and improve project outcomes.
  • Familiarity with ISO/ISMS as well as various laws, standards, and best practices (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, ADA, COPPA, etc.)
  • Passion/experience with some of our key client categories, including sports/entertainment, financial services, telecommunications, and/or travel.
