Job Summary

We're looking for a Creative Strategist to help brands win on the digital shelf by turning shopper insights, product research, performance data, and business objectives into compelling creative strategies.


This role sits at the intersection of data, storytelling, copy, and design. You'll research products, analyze categories and competitors, identify shopper motivations, and translate those insights into clear creative direction across Amazon, Walmart, Target, and other retail platforms.


The ideal candidate understands that great creative does more than look good. It solves a problem, tells a story, and helps shoppers make confident purchase decisions. You'll bring a strong point of view, challenge assumptions, and develop creative strategies that drive meaningful business results.


What You'll Do

Creative Strategy & Digital Shelf Development

  • Develop digital shelf content strategies for brands across Amazon, Walmart, Target, and other eCommerce retailers
  • Build creative frameworks that align shopper needs, brand objectives, and retailer requirements
  • Develop carousel strategies, messaging hierarchies, content flows, and visual recommendations that guide creative execution
  • Translate product benefits, category insights, and shopper motivations into clear content strategies
  • Ensure creative recommendations support both conversion goals and brand growth objectives

Shopper, Market & Competitive Research

  • Research products, categories, competitors, and shopper behavior to identify opportunities for differentiation
  • Analyze reviews, ratings, search trends, and market dynamics to understand purchase drivers and barriers
  • Evaluate competitive content and identify gaps that can be leveraged to improve performance
  • Use shopper insights to inform messaging, content structure, and creative priorities

Creative Brief Development

  • Turn business objectives, KPIs, and research findings into clear, actionable creative briefs
  • Define the role, purpose, and messaging priorities for each creative asset
  • Provide strategic recommendations on content hierarchy, claims, benefits, imagery, and storytelling approaches
  • Establish clear success metrics for creative initiatives

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with account teams, designers, copywriters, photographers, and client stakeholders throughout the creative process
  • Present strategy recommendations and clearly communicate the rationale behind each decision
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure creative execution aligns with approved strategy
  • Support internal planning discussions and client presentations with data-backed recommendations

Creative Performance & Optimization
