This position will operate on a remote, freelance basis.
We're looking for Freelance Tech Writers to contribute feature content to our Software & Applications category at How-to Geek! About Us
How-to Geek is a leading technology publication that helps readers understand, use, and enjoy technology. Our Software & Applications coverage focuses on practical guides, tutorials, and features for productivity, programming, and enthusiast software users.
This includes content around:
  • Step-by-step guides for Microsoft Excel, Word, and 365 applications
  • Tutorials for open source software and Linux tools
  • Programming and scripting tutorials (Python, shell scripts, etc.)
  • Web app productivity guides
  • Tips, tricks, and features that help readers master software efficiently

We publish content that's approachable, actionable, and often optimized for Google Discover, helping readers solve problems and get more out of their software.Responsibilities
  • Write original, well-researched feature and tutorial articles for the Software & Applications category
