Job description

Job Description:

At Remitly, we believe everyone deserves the freedom to access, move, and manage their money wherever life takes them. Since 2011, we've tirelessly delivered on our promise to customers sending money globally, providing secure, simple, and reliable ways to manage their money, ensuring true peace of mind. Whether it's supporting loved ones back home, growing a business across continents, or pursuing new opportunities abroad, we're not just here to move money- we're here to move our global customers forward.
We're looking for builders, reimaginers, and global thinkers who want to work at the intersection of technology, trust, and transformation. If that's you and you're ready to do the most meaningful work of your career-we invite you to join over 2,800 passionate Remitlians worldwide who are united by our vision to transform lives with trusted financial services that transcend borders.

About the Role

Remitly has moved $100B+ helping families send money across borders. Now we're doing the same for businesses and we're building the team to make it happen.

The Growth Marketing Lead for Remitly Business owns the North America go-to-market strategy end to end: awareness, acquisition, and early retention for SMBs in the US and Canada. This is a senior operator role that sets the strategy, run the execution, and make the reallocation calls. You'll report to the Head of Marketing and have a seat at the product table.

This is a hybrid role requiring 3+ days per week in our Seattle, WA headquarters.

You Will

  • Own the North America customer acquisition number across all marketing channels, with CAC, LTV, payback period, and funnel conversion as your core metrics.
  • Design and scale growth loops across the marketing funnel including paid, organic, community and partnerships - with a clear view of what compounds vs. what rents.
  • Identify and operationalize growth loops: referrals, creator ecosystems, marketplace effects in freelancer communities, and the two-sided flywheel between Send and Receive.
  • Translate product capabilities into a narrative that positions Remitly Business as a challenger to incumbents.
  • Lead GTM for product launches with a focus on adoption and revenue impact, not just awareness. Drive shared outcomes with Product - you'll have a real seat in roadmap prioritization.
  • Build and deploy AI agent workflows across channels: research, content production, performance reporting, competitive monitoring, and creative QC. Manage those agents the way you'd manage a team.

You Have

  • 8-12 years in growth, performance marketing, and/or product marketing in B2B fintech, payments, or adjacent categories - with demonstrated SMB acquisition experience at scale.
  • A North America growth number you've directly owned and CAC efficiency, retention curves, and payback period data you can speak to.
  • At least one 01 acquisition engine you built from scratch, with a clear story about what compounded, what you killed, and what you'd do differently.
  • 3+ durable acquisition channels you've scaled across paid, SEO, partnerships, community-led, or PLG.
  • The cross-functional experience to drive shared outcomes with Product - accountability for adoption and revenue impact, not just marketing influence.
  • Fluency with AI as a productivity layer and a point of view on where agent workflows change what's possible in growth operations.

Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $168,000-$210,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan. Your recruiter can share more information about medical benefits offered, as well as other financial benefits and total compensation components offered with this role.
