Unlike CTAs who work for firms, freelancers operate independently, offering personalized strategies and services to multiple clients. Their responsibilities include analyzing market trends, developing trading strategies, and executing trades on behalf of clients. They must also comply with regulatory requirements, such as registration with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and membership in the National Futures Association (NFA). Freelance CTAs often work with a diverse range of clients, from individuals to institutions, tailoring their services to each client's needs.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a freelance commodity trading advisor, and why are they important?
