Responsibilities
Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Uses computer-controlled equipment to select position and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines.
  • Set up and operate CNC router machines according to work orders and specifications.
  • Load raw materials and secure workpieces using appropriate fixtures and tooling.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production documentation.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect finished products using measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and gauges.
  • Change tooling, bits, and cutting tools as required.
  • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and housekeeping standards.
  • Work with supervisors, programmers, and quality personnel to resolve production issues.
  • Meet productivity, quality, and on-time delivery goals.
