Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in Azure Data Factory and Azure SQL Databases. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud-based data management, ETL processes, and database administration within the Azure ecosystem. This role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data solutions while ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability of our data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Azure SQL Database Administration:
o Manage and maintain Azure SQL Databases, including performance tuning, backups, disaster recovery, and security.
o Design and implement database solutions that are scalable, high-performing, and secure.
o Monitor database performance and proactively address potential issues to ensure high availability.
o Conduct regular maintenance tasks such as patching, upgrades, and data archiving.
• Azure Data Factory (ADF):
o Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
o Implement ETL processes to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into Azure SQL Databases.
o Ensure data pipelines are efficient, reliable, and scalable.
o Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes.
• Data Security and Compliance:
